For those of you who are following the fee schedule saga in the First Department, the appellate brief has been filed and as of now, the matter is scheduled for argument during the November term. I will keep everyone informed of any further developments in this matter. This is actually a very exciting issue.

Pardon me J.T. if I use a little bit of your cyberspace. I need help from the fans here at the Defender.
I am writing my Autobiography and I need a title. Feedback would help since I believe the book should be based upon the title:
a) Ray Zuppa: Roll with the Punches
b) Ray Zuppa: Punch Back
c) Ray Zuppa: Use the Ropes to Hold You Up
d) Please Please Don’t Hit Me No More: The Ray Zuppa Story
Any help would be appreciated.
JT, would love to see that brief you filed
I was thinking of making a constitutional argument before the Supreme Court and at the Appellate Division that the fee schedule as drafted is unconstitutional, but I realized that I forgot to inform the Attorney General…lol.
“Zuppa To Nuts”. That is really too easy.
How about these
PUNCHY TAKES ON THE WINDMILLS
RAY ZUPPA: NO ORDINARY CAN OF TOMATO
KEEP PUNCHING BY RAY “THE THREAT” ZUPPA
PALOOKA– RAY ZUPPA EXPLAINS WHY EVERYONE DOES IT WRONG
Everyone has to have a hobby. Our hobbies are just sort of pathetic…
Some excellent feedback. JT and AB would you stick to the topic.
Ray: I would suggest “Raging Bull” but that’s been taken.
Speaking of pathetic hobbies, no love on the blog for my last attempt to restore common sense to no-fault before I departed the practice? This was published last Friday:
http://www.courts.state.ny.us/reporter/3dseries/2011/2011_21315.htm
Happy to see my ghost is still haunting the no fault world (in Hempstead at least).
After many great suggestions I was about to settle on “PALOOKA– RAY ZUPPA EXPLAINS WHY EVERYONE DOES IT WRONG” for my Autobiography. Then something slick said — off topic — changed my mind.
The Autobiography will be entitled — “Just Sort of Pathetic: The Ray Zuppa Story”
Thanks for the help. The book will be available on Rogak Books LTD. Look for it next week.
For once I MUST agree with Larry Rogak. “Raging Bull”. I was trying to think of a title and that is IT. But who would play Ray in the movie version?
JT, its your blog and you are the producer here. Your call. Have your girl call my girl and make it happen.
And Ray, this also means a guest spot on Entourage, shaving commercials and you get slimed on Nickelodeon.
I am up for the sliming. It could be symbolic for my career’s entry into No Fault.
