All of this for Dr. Bhatt's $230 consultation?

If you were injured due to someone else’s careless actions, we understand the challenges you may be facing. As a victim or a surviving family member, you could be dealing with the life-altering consequences of a serious accident.

Ap Orthopedic & Rehabilitation, P.C. v MVAIC,  2011 NY Slip Op 51448(U)(App. Term 2d Dept. 2011)

Another MVAIC case from the App. Term, Second.  I have lost interest in copying and pasting the same holdings, so I am not.  I just find it remarkable that the tax payers of this state footed the cost to appeal a $230 judgment.  Donate the money that was wasted on this appeal to keep the 18-B program going – just a thought.

  1. From what I understand, MVAIC is not funded by tax dollars, but by an assessment paid by all New York auto insurers. Of course that’s an indirect tax, but only on people who buy car insurance.

  2. Mr. Rogak I know Doctor Bhatt. I worked with Dr. Bhatt. Mr. Rogak you’re no Doctor Bhatt.
